We aim to support staff to carry out their role, through our internal training programme which includes formal training courses, shadowing and mentoring to ensure that everyone learns their role and we utilise their skills within the charity.

We have an amazing team of volunteers that all bring something uniquely different to the charity, in the support they offer our members. Volunteers provide support to members on many of the activities we provide and are a crucial part of the service we offer.
OUR SETTINGS AND AVAILABILTY
Workskills
Our Workskills programme runs Monday to Friday from 9:30-4:00pm. Within the service we have a variety of areas available for volunteers to contribute including woodwork, catering, salon, shop, café, craft, fundraising, home skills and gardening.
Leisure / Adult Social
Our Adult Social activities run Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings 4:00-9:00pm. We offer our members a monthly timetable of varying events including bowling, quiz nights, discos, art and crafts, walking club, meals out, theatre trips and much more. Saturday activities typically run 10:00-5:00pm and can include anything from a day at the beach to local parks, train rides and cinema trips.

• Attend relevant training when applicable
